The Bremer professional in the shipping industry, Christian Meentzen sells
the family business including all subsidiaries.
1988-1991
During a stay abroad in the USA Christian Meentzen developed an Enterprise Resource Planning system for “Engines, Gears, Generators in the nautical- and industrial area” which, due to a great demand, is now available through external sales/distribution.
1991-1995
Back in Germany he pursues the further development of the software, which is by now used primarily in the aviation industry.
1995-1997
The C. Meentzen GmbH recognizes the increasing demand for good networking for suppliers ,created through “just-in-time production” in the aviation industry and develops a cross-company integration technology for the data exchange.
1997
The C. Meentzen GmbH with further partners, found the HSM Data Communication GmbH.
1999
The Company is awarded the Förderpreis "e-conomy" of the Wirtschaftswoche.
Sponsors of the grant are, amongst others, BBDO, Boston Consulting Group, Concept!,
Deutsche Bank and Sun Microsystems.
2000
"Connection Expert" becomes CONXPERT GmbH & Co. KG.
2002
CONXPERT shifts its focal point from pure software development to individual
customer services. Besides establishing the data integration, CONXPERT now also offers the
execution and supervision on its own servers.
